- 10 am – 12 pm: FUNctional fitness activities, including martial arts, games, movement, and more
- 12 pm – 1 pm: Lunch (for those attending the full camp)
- 1 pm – 3 pm: Outdoor fitness and movement activities. (weather permitting)
What to Expect in a FUNctional Fitness Activity:
Expect to be spending the class moving. We are movements that promote form and function within all activities. This is great for cross-training and for kids to get to know their own bodies. Martial arts, kickboxing and self defense are the base-line to many of the activities, however experience is not necessary.
Basically, we are running around and tiring ourselves out to promote healthy living and a positive perception of physical movement. We are getting away from the screens for a little bit and enjoying ourselves.
All participants should bring with them appropriate gear for outdoor adventures, like snow pants, mitts, gloves, hats, etc.
